Secret Squirrel Forum
Excussive private forum for VMFP-3 Veterans
1975 VMFP-3 1990
By Marc "Devil Dog Of The Web" Iseli / Updated Dec. 2026
I am very excited to introduce the very first
forum dedicated to those who served with
VMFP-3 from 1975 to 1990. Thank you for showing
an interest in joining the group. I am Marc
Iseli, and my profile name is Devil_Dog,
the Maintenance Controller of the forum.
This is not a third-party forum but one I
actually created on this website, which makes
it much more private and ad-free. I am keeping
it easy to become a member; create a username
and password for now unless the AI bots and
hackers try to infiltrate
How the Forum works
When you get to the forum, please consider
filling out your Bio so we know who you are:
name, rank, years served, and MOS. If you
are new to forums, I am the only one who
can create a category and the forums that
go into the category. I created a few to
get things started but would love if you
could give me some of your ideas by leaving
them in the Sound Off that will be posted
at the very bottom of the forum. The very
first Category is called, "Fall In &
Close Ranks!" This is a welcoming forum
with more details on how to navigate.
Private Forums
I am also excited to offer you
the opportunity
to create your own private forum,
which would
be separate and not viewable
by the main
members of the forum. You can
call it whatever
you want and have your own moderator.
If
you know a group of veterans
you served with
in electric shop, com/nav or
Officers could
call it the Ready Room just a
few examples.
Please be patient with me when
setting up
your private forum. I just spent
the past
month learning code to make this
forum possible,
and the private forums have a
lot of moving
parts. More details will be available
on
the private forums under the
Category, Private
Forums.

Alright, you glorious Rat Phixers and Phlyers,
if we ever survived a TAD, a Det, or a BOHICA,
who haven't, and you didn’t think I was the
biggest gaff off in the squadron. Got a sea
story, or some grainy photos your ex didn’t
set on fire, and they’re only slightly illegal?
Send ‘em by email, snail mail, or safety
wire it to a carrier pigeon. I collect ‘em
all, just nothing that would incriminate
me.
